Famous Malayalam actor Jose Prakash (86) died. His sad demise created a big loss to Malayalam film industry. He was admitted in Sunrise Hospital, Kakkanad due to severe Diabetis and Kidney problem. Jose Prakash has been selected for J.C. Daniel award on yesterday. He was with Malayalam film industry for last 40 years. Jose Parakash gave life to characters in 380 films. He has created his own space in Malayalam films in villan and character roles.
Malayalam film association has planned to celebrate Jose Prakash’s 87th birthday on coming April 14. But he didn’t wait for that. When J.C. Daniel award has announced, he was in ICU. But his son passed the news to him, then his eyes filled with tears, just smiled but he is not in a position to say anything. J.C. Daniel award is the bigger award in Malayalam film industry for the life time contribution of actor.
Jose Prakash has started his career in Malayalam film industry at 1968. His first film was ‘Love in Kerala’. He played about 400 films. His last film was ‘Traffic’. He was in army before his arrival at film industry.
