KOCHI March 22 : Popular Malayalam – Tamil actress Jyothirmayi marriage to Nishanth does not have a fairy tale ending.
The actress has filed for divorce from her husband of eight years, Nishanth an IT engineer .
Jyothirmayi, filed papers at the Ernakulam family Court on March 22,citing irreconcilable differences.
Jyothirmayi has won state and National awards. Her films include `Pattalam`, `Kalyanaraman`, `Hariharanpilla Happiyanu`, `Anyar`,`Ente Veedu Apponteyum` among others.
She was a serial artist at first. Indraneelam is one of her famous serials. She has also acted in some Telefilms but was not successful. In her first film Pilots, She played a minor character and the film was a failure. She became a top actress after Meesha Madhavan. She got married to Nishanth, a software engineer on 6 2004.
May be Kavya Madhavan advised her to do this!
Jyothirmayi and Nishanth were my college mates. 1993 batch pre-degree at Maharaja’s college. He was first group and she was second group. They were in love since teenage… but when she started selling herself for money he tried to stop… I would blame him to go behind this bitch

She actually got all the current fame and publicity after her marriage due to the fact that her husband didn’t stop her from acting after marriage and most importantly she was given permission to do the glamourous roles and steamy item numbers which made her what she is now…!!!
