Chacha Neharu our beloved first prime minister’s birth day.On this day Aswathy Seva Kendra, a Charitable society working under the leadership of Swami Aswathy Thirunal for the enlightening the children in art , craft, literature and film technology in union with Indian children film society in conducting a film festival with an aim to introduce the film, art, craft and technology to the children of rural Kerala, Ottappalam,Palakkad.
Indian children’s film society is presenting seven internationally famous children’s films erealed by the society. The film festival is to be held at Kalluvazhi Sabari Aided Upper Primary School on Now.12,13 and 14. This is going to be first Mega fest to be conducted to benefit the children from rural Kerala.Ottappalam can be termed as the film capital of Kerala as this is the most favorite shooting location of Malayalam film industry .Pallakkad is the birth place of many famous Malayalam film personalities also.The festival intends to encourage the hidden talents of children in film making and script writing. The president of Aswathy Seva Kendra Swami Aswathy Thirunal who is the director of Chandrayan film institute for children at Trivandrum.Sri. Nooranad Prasad producer and Director of film, Serials, P.Chandran Kumar (senior film Director) are giving leadership to the festival along with the head master of Sabari school sri.Vasudevan and staff members.Sri. Lal Jose,Babu Janardhanan,Padmakumar and many other eminent film personalities will bless the workshops with their presence and classes
