Popular Malayalam actor and comedian Machan Varghese(50 years) passed away at a private hospital in Kozhikode on Thursday evening.

Machan Varghese started his career as a mimicry artist and debuted as an actor through Kabooliwala. Thereafter he played many notable roles in Malayalam films, mainly as a comedian.His famous movies included Thenkasipattanam,Meesa madhavn,achakuthira,Puthukkottayle Puthumanavalan, Punjabi House, Thilakkam, CID Moosa, Thommanum Makkalum etc.
