Pranchiyettan and The Saint is an upcoming Malayalam satirical film written and directed by Renjith. Mammootty will play the pivotal role in the film. The film is a satire and is about a rice vendor in Thrissur. Priya mani, Innocent, Jesse Fox Allen and Biju Menon will be doing the other important roles. The film is thus having four National Award winning artists, Mammootty, Priya mani, Renjith and Ouseppachan, who will be scoring the music for the film.
Mammootty will play the role of Chirammal Enashu Francis, a rice vendor in Thrissur. Hafis Firosh will be doing Mammootty’s childhood. Innocent and Biju Menon will be doing other important characters in the film. Australian theatre artist Jesse Fox Allen will do the role of the Saint, believed to be an important character in the film. Apart from cine-artistes, this movie will also have plenty of faces from professional drama fields to don very important characters of the movie, as in Renjith’s Paleri Manikyam
