The Liberal Party ruled for six years with the backing of coalition partners and the internal conflict. The Labor Party is seeking to recapture power. The Hawk’s popularity is likely to be favorable for the party. The first phase result will come out tonight.

The Liberal party leader and Prime Minister, Scott Morrison, is contesting in the capital-Sydney. Labor leader Bill Shorten is contesting in Melbourne. Survey says that both leaders are not popular.
