Florida: The Axiom-4 space mission, which includes Indian astronaut Shubham Shukla, has been postponed for the sixth consecutive time. The launch, initially scheduled for June 22, has been delayed again, with NASA yet to announce a new date.
NASA stated that the team is still evaluating launch possibilities and wants to ensure the International Space Station is fully prepared to receive the mission team following recent maintenance work.
Axiom Mission 4 is a collaborative commercial mission between NASA, Axiom Space, and SpaceX. Besides Shubham Shukla, the crew includes mission commander Peggy Whitson (USA), Slawosz Uznanski-Wisniewski (Poland), and Tibor Kapu (Hungary). The mission will launch aboard SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket using the Dragon spacecraft.
