Actor Nivin Pauly has responded to the fraud case filed against him and director Abrid Shine. The complaint, lodged by co-producer Shamnaas of the film Mahaveeryar, accuses the duo of cheating her out of ₹1.90 crore.
Nivin Pauly stated via social media that the issue is part of a contractual dispute currently under mediation, and that the complainant has acted against court directives by filing a fresh case. The police have registered a non-bailable case under cheating charges.
