Residents of Delhi’s unauthorized colonies conferred property ownership rights

New Delhi: For 20 residents of illegal colonies in Delhi Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri handed over the ownership documents. Suraj Park and Raja Vihar – the residents of the colonies – handed over the ownership documents as the first step at a function in New Delhi. With this, the government has fulfilled its promise to the people of the colony, Hardeep Singh Puri said. More than 57,000 colony inhabitants have been applied to ownership and that more people will be given ownership in a phased manner. The Minister said that the amount of registration fee and stamp duty-related amount will be earmarked for infrastructure development in these colonies when the document is submitted.
