The Kerala Education Department has officially announced the dates for the upcoming Onam mid-term examinations for LP, UP, and High School sections. The exams will be conducted from August 18 to August 26. In LP and UP sections, morning exams will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., while the afternoon sessions will run from 1:30 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. On Fridays, afternoon exams will begin at 2:00 p.m. and conclude at 4:15 p.m.
Meanwhile, applications are now open for admission to the Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) program for the 2025–2027 academic year in Thiruvananthapuram district. This includes government, aided, and self-financing Teacher Training Institutes (TTIs) under government merit quota. Interested candidates can submit their applications at the office of the Deputy Director of Education, Thiruvananthapuram. The last date for application submission is August 11.
