Kochi: Actor Dileep’s acquittal petition has been dismissed in the case of assaulting actress. The trial court rejected the plea agreement stating that there was no circumstance in granting the prima facie case. Dileep argued that there was no clear evidence against him in the charge sheet. Dileep also demanded that he be removed from the opposition. But the prosecution disputed these claims. The plea deal included issues and allegations that affected the victim’s privacy. Therefore, the case was taken up in a closed court. The prosecution argues that Pulser Suni and Dileep had the same tower locations and call lists as evidence. The prosecution pointed out that the exclusion of Dileep would hurt the case.
