Thiruvananthapuram: Similar lockdown restrictions will be imposed in the state till Sunday in case the Covid escalates.
No one will be allowed to leave the house unnecessarily from Tuesday. Police will inspect all vehicles entering the road. The police have been directed to register a case under the Disaster Management Act against those violating the regulations prescribed by the authorities.

Strict restrictions on attending weddings and funerals. Clothing stores, jewelers, and barbershops will not be open. Autos, taxis, and trucks are essential only. These will also be checked by the police. Those going to work in private companies have to show their identity card.

Unnecessary travel is not allowed. Crowds are not allowed in closed spaces. Shops selling milk, vegetables, groceries, fish, and meat can be opened. Maximum door delivery is required.

Open 24 hours a day to companies and businesses. Employees must show identity cards.

Traders at vegetable and fish markets should keep a distance of 2 meters, which can be used to sell home-delivered fish. Wear 2 masks and gloves if possible. Can only work for hospitals, media houses, telecom, IT, milk, newspaper distribution, water supply, and electric-related companies. Covid vaccination centers are not barred. Home delivery to hotels and restaurants only.
