Kochi: Monson Mavunkal has been remanded in custody in connection with a case of financial fraud in the name of antiquities. The custody is for three days. The order was issued by the Ernakulam ACJM court. The crime branch team informed the court that further investigation into the case is yet to take place. The Crime Branch wants to find the money Monson earned through fraud. Defendant, however, argued in court that there was not a single penny in Monson’s account. It is not correct to say that one should be questioned now for future crimes, the defendant argued.
