Thiruvananthapuram: Vigilance is all set to question Chief Minister’s former Principal Secretary M Shivashankar in connection with the Life Mission irregularities. Vigilance will approach the court on Tuesday seeking permission to question Shivshankar. He is currently in judicial custody in connection with a money laundering case related to gold smuggling.
Vigilance is also seeking travel information for vehicles at the Life Mission office. Vigilance will check the logbook of the Life Mission office today. According to the vigilance, the money found in Swapna’s locker was a bribe received by Shivashankar in the Life Mission project.Meanwhile, Shivashankar has been shifted to the Corona First-Line Treatment Center. He will be transferred to Kakkanad Jail only if the corona result is negative after completing the observation here. On Thursday, the court remanded Shivshankar till the 26th of this month. The verdict in his bail application has been changed to 17.
