Kerala will receive thundershowers for five days

Thiruvananthapuram: The Central Meteorological Department has forecast thundershowers for five days in the state. The Central Meteorological Department said the low-pressure area from North Karnataka to the Gulf of Mannar was weak.

At the same time, thundershowers are likely to continue in the state for the next five days as a result of the cyclone’s prevailing over Sri Lanka and adjoining areas.

Thunderstorms are possible from 2 pm to 10 pm. Warnings have been issued for strong winds today and tomorrow. Authorities advised people in hilly areas to be vigilant as there is a risk of landslides.
Although the rains will continue, fishing will not be banned off the coast of Kerala. However, authorities have advised those going to sea to be careful in the event of strong winds.
