Actress attack case; The Supreme Court has granted bail to Martin Antony

Kochi: The Supreme Court has granted bail to Martin Antony, the second accused in the case of attacking the actress. The court rejected the government’s request not to grant bail until the investigation into the murder conspiracy case is completed.

The order was passed by a bench headed by Justice AM Khanwilker.

Meanwhile, the High Court has postponed consideration of Dileep’s plea to quash the FIR in the murder conspiracy case. It was postponed to March 17. The case was adjourned following Dileep’s request for time to respond to the prosecution’s report. A report was filed in the Crime Branch court alleging that Dileep had deleted the information on his mobile phone to destroy the evidence. Dileep will file an affidavit in reply to this.
