New Delhi: The omicron sub variant was confirmed in 11 travelers who arrived from abroad. The confirmed cases are those who arrived between December 24, 2022, and January 3, 2023. Out of 19,227 passengers who arrived from abroad, 124 passengers have been confirmed infected so far.
After December 23, 2022, the inspection was introduced for international passengers arriving in the country. After the Omicron sub-variant BF 7 was confirmed in the country, the testing at the airports began.
