New Delhi: The application date for the Hajj pilgrimage extended. The date for the journey has been extended by the Hajj Committee. The deadline was yesterday. It has been extended till March 20. Central Hajj Committee officials informed us that applications for travel can be made till 5 pm on the 20th. At the same time, the officials informed that the applied pilgrims should have Indian passports obtained before March 20 and valid till February 3, 2024.
This year’s Hajj will be held in two phases from May 21 to June 22. In the first phase, the journey will be from the departure centers of Hajj to Madinah. Their return journey will be from Jeddah. Those in the second phase will leave for Jeddah. They will be returning from Medina. The Central Hajj Committee issued the guidelines in this regard the other day.
