Gujarat assembly passes resolution against BBC documentary

New Delhi: Gujarat assembly passes resolution against BBC documentary. The resolution was passed with the support of BJP MLAs and ministers in the Assembly which met on Friday.

BJP MLA Vipul Patel introduced the resolution in the Assembly. BBC is trying to tarnish the image of Prime Minister Narendra Modi through documentary. The central government should take strict action against this. According to the resolution, efforts to humiliate India in front of the world are also behind the documentary. Vipul Patel’s resolution was supported by various BJP MLAs and ministers. The resolution was passed without opposition due to the Congress MLAs being expelled by the Speaker for creating a ruckus in the House.
