New Delhi: In the UAPA case, Popular Front leader A Abdul Sattar was remanded in NIA custody for five days. The action belongs to the special NIA court in Kochi. He was granted custody till Friday. Abdul Sattar was asked to be kept in custody for seven days, but he was released in custody for five days.
Abdul Sattar is the third accused in the case registered by NIA in Kerala. He was absconding after the raid and was arrested by the NIA on 28th from the popular front office in Karunagappally.
The court remanded Abdul Sattar till 20th of last month. The NIA submitted an application seeking his custody on Friday. Abdul Sattar is the state general secretary of the Popular Front.
