Srinagar – As part of Operation Mahadev, three militants were killed by security forces near Dara in Jammu and Kashmir. Acting on a tip-off about the presence of militants in the Lidwas region, the anti-terror operation began around 11 a.m. on Monday. A fierce encounter followed, resulting in the elimination of three terrorists. The encounter is still ongoing in the area.
Dara is a known trekking destination with rugged and difficult terrain, making the operation more challenging.
