Thiruvananthapuram: Banks across the country will be closed for four days from March 13. As March 11 is Shivratri, it is a bank holiday. 14 and Sunday. On the 15th and 16th, there is a national strike of bank employees.The bank will be open only for 12 of the six days from 11 to 16.
As many as 10 lakh bank employees and officers are on strike on May 15 and 16 demanding the abolition of privatization of public sector banks. The strike was called by the National Unity Forum of nine unions of bank employees. The strike will affect the public sector, private, foreign, and rural banks.
