Kochi: Customs has issued a look-out notice for Faisal Farid, the accused in the gold smuggling case. The move is to nab Faisal abroad with the help of Interpol. Indications are that the NIA has obtained CCTV footage to help prove the conspiracy in the case. Further evidence has been obtained against KT Ramis.
Meanwhile, the NIA may today purchase CCTV footage from the Public Administration Department, including in the office of former IT secretary Shivshankar. The government has also said it will hand over the footage. Meanwhile, Shivshankar will return to Kochi today to appear for questioning by the NIA.
