COVID: Lockdown extended in Tamil Nadu

New Delhi: The state government has decided to extend lockdown in Tamil Nadu, where the spread of COVID is continuing. Lockdown was extended until July 31st.

The lockdown was called off after Chief Minister Edappadi Palaniswami held discussions with health professionals. The lockdown was extended till July 31 in Maharashtra as well.

In Tamil Nadu, 3949 people were diagnosed with the disease on Monday. So far 86,224 people have contracted the disease in the state. 1141 people have died.
