Kochi: Bishop Franco who was accused in the nun rape case test COVID positive. COVID had earlier confirmed to Franco’s lawyer. Indications are that the bishop contracted the disease from him. Franco Mulakkal was admitted to Jalandhar District Hospital.
Bishop Franco told the court that COVID had confirmed to lawyer Mandeep Singh that he was on quarantine as he was included in his primary contact list.Bishop Franco Mulakkal’s bail was revoked yesterday in a case of molestation of a nun. This was due to his continuous absence from the court. He is scheduled to appear in court on August 13.
