Kochi: Pulsar Suni, the first accused in the case of attacking the actress, has filed a bail application in the Supreme Court. The bail application stated that the trial proceedings would be delayed. Pulsar Suni is the only accused in the case who is in jail.
The High Court had yesterday granted conditional bail to VP Vijeesh, the fourth accused in the case. The Supreme Court had earlier granted bail to Martin Antony, the second accused in the case.
Earlier, the high court had rejected Pulsar Suni’s bail plea. Pulsar Suni has stated in his bail application that further investigation is underway in the case. Pulsar Suni was arrested on February 23, 2017.
