Thiruvananthapuram: The Central Meteorological Department has forecast heavy rains in the state. Yellow alert in 11 districts today.
The cyclone is expected to make landfall in the southwestern Bay of Bengal off the coast of Sri Lanka. The Meteorological Department has warned that a new low pressure will form in the southern Andaman Sea in the Bay of Bengal on Monday, moving towards the Indian coast.
