Thiruvananthapuram: Aluva East CI CL Sudheer has been suspended in the law student Mofia’s death. The move follows a decision by the state government. The action was taken based on the suicide of a Mofia woman and CI insulted her and her family seeking a solution to the dowry problem.
The government’s move comes amid strong criticism and protests. The Chief Minister had called Mofia’s father on the phone this morning. Minister P Rajeev visited Mofia’s house and assured her of the government’s action.
