The current lock-down restrictions in the state will be extended till June 16 in case the covid expansion rate does not fall as expected. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said in the covid review meeting that there will be a complete lock-down with strict restrictions on the 12th and 13th.
Permits will be issued until June 16 for companies selling essential items, raw materials for the industry (including packaging), and companies selling construction materials. Banks will be open on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays as they are now.
