New Delhi: The first dose of the Covid vaccine was given to more than 87 lakh health workers in the country. The central government has directed to complete the first phase of vaccination by early March. Steps are being taken to vaccinate people over the age of 50 from next month.
Meanwhile, the Union Health Ministry has denied allegations of a slowdown in the distribution of the second dose of the Covid vaccine. The ministry said 1.7 lakh people had received both doses. Fourteen states, including Kerala, have done well in vaccination.
