Indian jawan killed in Pak shelling

Jammu: Pakistan’s provocations continue along the Line of Control. Pakistani troops continue shelling Indian posts and border villages. A junior commissioned officer (JCO) of the Army has been killed in an attack in Poonch district.

JCO, who was injured in the Pakistani attack, died at a military hospital. Mohammad Rashid, a local, was also injured in the attack. It is reported that the Indian Army is retaliating strongly against Pakistan’s provocations on the border. Earlier, two jawans were martyred in an attack by militants on the outskirts of Srinagar today. The attack took place in the HMT area of Srinagar. The Kashmir Army Inspector General said that three militants were firing at the soldiers.
