A new feel-good short movie creating waves on YouTube. ‘Cineastes’ Paradise, a friend’s collective of movie maniacs based from Kozhikode, is the group behind the short film ‘Single – Ready to Mingle’. The movie was premiered in Openscreen Mini Theatre Kozhikode on 28th Dec, following which it was released on YouTube at 7 pm. The team is happy for receiving very good reviews since the release.
“It’s a normal love story and we don’t have anything new to claim!” – said Vimal A N, the debut director. The love story between the sea, the land, and the wind is beautifully backed by the melodies from Joel Johns. The sound mixing is done by Nirmal Dev. Cinematography by Hridul, Abin, and Bala. Sarath, Ashwin, and Anagha did the main roles. This small budget movie was produced by three friends of Vimal – Linda, Rahul, and Ardra.
The team is looking forward to showing their work to the pioneers of the Malayalam Movie Industry and getting their responses.
