Thiruvananthapuram: The Central Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains in the state for the next 5 days. In view of the heavy rains, the meteorological department has announced yellow alert in various districts.

11-10-2023 : Ernakulam, Idukki
12-10-2023 : Ernakulam, Palakkad, Malappuram
Yellow alert has been announced in the districts. Chance of isolated heavy rain is forecast. Heavy rains mean rainfall of 64.5 mm to 115.5 mm in 24 hours.
Fisherman alert
The Central Meteorological Department has informed that there is no disruption to fishing in the Kerala-Karnataka coast and Lakshadweep area.
