Sathyam Paranja Viswasikkumo revolves around the life of Suni who is a mason and an alcoholic. He is running a happy life with Geetha who had left her family for Suni. Suni has a group of friends who all works together and also all of them are alcoholics so Geetha constantly worries about his drinking habits. Rest of the story unfolds some serious event which turns Suni’s and his friends live up and down.

Sathyam Paranja Viswasikkumo is directed by G.Prajith who is well known for his debut film ‘Oru Vadakan Selfie’ and the story, screenplay and dialogues are written by Sajeev Pazhoor who is famous for his written works in the movie ‘Thondimuthalum Dhriksakshiyum’.

First of all a simple story written by the writer Sajeev Pazhoor deserves huge applause and along with the director, G.Prajith should be praised for his extraordinary direction. Both of them had crafted the movie as a brilliantly executed thriller film which completely turned out as a worth watch flick for every type of audience.

The entire direction held by G.Prajith was passionate for making a realistic family thriller movie and also his full making was authentic as per the story and screenplay. From the movie, it is clearly evident that the director had given his best working effort to build the movie as an enjoyable and thrilling entertainer with the perfect mix of realistic events. Importantly, according to the plot, the director was successful in using the acting talents of the central characters and also the establishment in making the characters was well implemented with situational humour and thrilling contents.

When looking deeply into the written works the writer Sajeev Pazhoor’s brilliance was seen all over his script and ultimately the screenplay was flawless to build the impact of the plot. He constructed the screenplay with the combined factors like family emotions, friendship, parenthood, betrayal, thrilling events, situational comedies and husband and wife bond which makes the entire screenplay to end the movie as a convincing and engaging thriller film.

The story can be predictable for everyone and when the movie tracks to the main plot there are some illogical facts but these things do not affect the viewing experience because the writer had maintained the narration without spoiling the simplicity of the plot and the writer had also effectively used the correct forms of thrilling contents. The writing style which Sajeev Pazhoor’ used in Thondimuthalum Dhriksakshiyum was taken for this movie also pointing to remember various police stations scenarios but still, the using of different pattern changed the tonality of the film.

To be noted Sathyam Paranja Viswasikkumo had brilliantly worked well because the cardinal tone of the film largely focuses on the life of the central characters and their various life-changing events so the director and writer had stunningly portrayed their real life without any form of confusing elements in a dominant realistic way.

The dialogues were written in a lifelike and naturalistic manner which eventually helped to build strong momentum in conversations between every character. Most of the emotional dialogues were observant and there was no unwanted use of cliche words. The situational comedy dialogues were funny and the use of faithful dialogues on struggling scenes was well written to pass its nature.

Looking into the performance of actors and actress Biju Menon as the hero and Samvritha Sunil as the heroine did a fantastic job. Biju Menon stole the show with his unique acting and his characterization was genuine which deserves a thumbs up. His perfect timings on delivering the comedies were entertaining and also his emotional scenes with his wife and his friends were supreme. Samvritha Sunil had got a terrific comeback through her character and it was absolutely a good choice on choosing her. The characteristics of a housewife who cares about her husband, daughter and her family were incredibly undertaken by Samvritha Sunil and her whole performance deserves a special mention. Alencier Lay Lopez had also done an impressive performance throughout the movie. Sudhi Koppa, Dinesh Nair, Sumangal and Bhagath had also done total justice to their respective full-length characters. Saiju Kurup, Sudheesh and Vettukili Prakash performed eminently with the negative shades in their particular characters. The performance of Sruthy Jayan was bold and surprising. Srikant Murali and Vijayakumar shine on their police officer’s role.

The technical side of the film had also done a wonderful job to make the movie as realistic. The cinematography of Shehnad Jalal was powerful with captivating visuals. The lorry accident scene was captured amazingly without any fault and the underwater sequences were also with top quality shots. The editing of Ranjan Abraham was also crisp and smooth without giving any sort of mismatching feel. The Costume Design of Sameera Saneesh was also impressive and the set held by the Art Department was also great.

So overall to conclude ‘Sathyam Paranja Viswasikkumo’ is a brilliantly executed film which had given me a satisfying worth watch experience because of its incredible story and making. If you are seeking to watch a well crafted realistic thriller then this movie is a perfect choice to make, go for it.
