Colombo: The terror group ISIS took responsibility for the series of blasts in Sri Lanka. The death toll was 321. According to the news agency Amak News Agency has been disclosed the reports.

Supreme Court notice to Rahul Gandhi

The Supreme Court issued a notice to Congress president Rahul Gandhi in the Rafal court contempt case. Rahul’s advocate informed in the court that the notice was not sent to Rahul in this case. Rahul expressed regret in his statement that the Supreme Court says- Chawkidar Chor Hain. He submitted an affidavit on his statement.

Rahul’s plea was rejected by the court. The court said that the case cannot be terminated. Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi said, “We will hear the contempt proceedings with the special bench of the Supreme Court.

15 injured in a clash in Kasargod; Congress leader stabbed

Kasargod: In the third phase of Lok Sabha polls clashes erupted in several places around the country. Voters wounded in the riot in Kasargod. At least 15 people injured in Kasaragod district.  The allegations that fraudulent vote in polling was the reason behind the clashes.

Three UDF LDF activists were injured in the clashes near the Sree Narayana Teachers Training Institute at Padannakkadu. The UDF alleges that the DYFI members attacked. In the fray in school in Uduma constituency, panchayat standing committee chairman T K Kabir was stabbed in the clashes. The (UDF) activist Jalil was also injured.

Meanwhile, five Left Front activists were injured in two incidents. The LDF alleges that the UDF was making vicious violence. BJP leaders filed a complaint to DySP and District Collector for allegedly attacking NDA’s booth agents.

Lok Sabha Polling for the 116 Constituency in 14 States started

New Delhi: The polling for 116 constituencies in 14 states and union territories of India has been started in the early morning. Congress president Rahul Gandhi, BJP president Amit Shah, senior Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge will record their votes today.

The re-polling in the Tripura constituency, to be held on April 18 has also started.

In the two phases, the election in 187 Lok Sabha seat has been conducted earlier. With the third phase, the polling in the 303 Lok Sabha seats will be completed today. And the polling in the southern states also is completed with this.

At least 61 lakh people will record their votes in various polling booths in the 20 constituencies in Kerala. The polling will be completed at 6 pm.

Electronic Voting Machine complaint in several areas created confusion. Electricity damage in various districts also reported.

According to the reports, 227 candidates contests from Kerala. 24,970 polling booths opened for voters. Tight security also deployed due to Maoist threat in various places.
