Lok Sabha Polling for the 116 Constituency in 14 States started

New Delhi: The polling for 116 constituencies in 14 states and union territories of India has been started in the early morning. Congress president Rahul Gandhi, BJP president Amit Shah, senior Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge will record their votes today.

The re-polling in the Tripura constituency, to be held on April 18 has also started.

In the two phases, the election in 187 Lok Sabha seat has been conducted earlier. With the third phase, the polling in the 303 Lok Sabha seats will be completed today. And the polling in the southern states also is completed with this.

At least 61 lakh people will record their votes in various polling booths in the 20 constituencies in Kerala. The polling will be completed at 6 pm.

Electronic Voting Machine complaint in several areas created confusion. Electricity damage in various districts also reported.

According to the reports, 227 candidates contests from Kerala. 24,970 polling booths opened for voters. Tight security also deployed due to Maoist threat in various places.
