New Delhi: The deadline for linking PAN cards with Aadhaar will end on March 31, 2021. The Income Tax Department warns that those who do not link will have to pay a fine of up to Rs.1000.
Earlier, the Center had warned several times to link Aadhaar and PAN card. IT return filers are also required to provide their Aadhaar number. Last year, the government had extended the connection between PAN Aadhaar from June 30, 2020, to March 31, 2021, for nine months.
In case of invalidation of the existing PAN card, payment of tax may be hampered. Failure to pay the tax on time will result in a hefty fine. Aadhaar and PAN cards can be linked through the website www.incomtaxindiafiling.gov.in. To began, let’s crack with the making, as we all know the director Rohit R.S is a kind of filmmaker who always brings with new concept and new mode of making just like we saw in Adventures of Omanakuttan and Ibilis. His two previous movies were totally different and had given a unique unforgettable cinematic experience. So when the movie was announced and by hearing the name of this filmmaker I think was evidently sure that he is going to show some different magic again. Teaming up with Tovino Thomas had given an expectation and through Kala he hasn’t failed to meet the expectations. Like said earlier Kala is totally different from his earlier two films, the uniqueness was brought out once again in both the making and the storyline. The predominant winning success of this movie is the brilliant execution of the making by Rohit R.S, the entire making held by him was passionate and he strengthened the compete film with the right balance of intensity which will surely provoke anyone to engage also to hook up with the premise.
The making makes the movie wins the race, the direction was sharp and accurate as per the story and screenplay. From the beginning to the end the movie can make every viewer travel within its premise, one can feel and can get the manner of what the movie is targeting to aim. An important factor I liked in the movie is the film won’t let the audience take their eyes, every single frames and shot were having the potential to engage the audience, credits lie in the court of Rohit R.S and his direction. So the maker Rohit R.S had taken the entire film into another unimaginable dimension, the new era of modern filmmaking was beautifully used and it was evident in his entire direction so an attitude of exclusive filmmaking is guaranteed so one can recognize and perceive it completely while watching the film.
Also importantly the quality of making was on a supreme level of standard, therefore by this predominant way of making nothing was comprised, everything was enforced with the right elements and proper content according to the story and screenplay. The story is having a crucial subplot which makes the movie to another erratic fraction so the chances of getting an off-balance and a diversion was high, so this risk element was amazingly handled by both the director and writer. The momentum which leads the plot to the climax was having the possession of an equivalent pace so from the beginning to the end the mood of creating tensions, fear and curiosity had brilliantly worked out, undoubtedly can contrive anyone.
Looking into the story it’s quite simple, the plot revolves around Shaji an unemployed person (Tovino Thomas) born into a rich family. He is married and leads a happy life with his wife, his son and his wealthy father. Due to the loss in business, Shaji faces financial issues and peeks different ways need to meet his debt. One day some Tamil daily workers come to his house for a small farming work but things get upside down when Shaji has to face an unexpected situation. This unexpected situation leads to the plot and the movie, when looking into the plot it’s quite simple but the screenplay implemented for this small story is unbelievable. The events and circumstances contained in the screenplay was terror and breathtaking, one that has never witnessed before. The proper mannerism of a realistic approach given to the screenplay makes the movie completely different, the incidents written in the screenplay is completely serious, severe, brutal and rigorous, can haunt the consciousness of every single viewer. The various emotions such as love, betrayal, sorrow, fatherhood, fights, survival and desperateness are all overfilled with the screenplay so these particular emotions were carried out authentically as per the story so in result with the realistic form of making the totality of the whole movie can strongly convince every type of viewers. Therefore by the brilliant direction, aggravating story and well-made screenplay ‘Kala’ travel safely into a promising winning path and offers an extraordinary cinematic experience.
The casting consists of a few actors, among Tovino Thomas, handles the central character and joins with Sumesh Moor, Lal, Divya Pillai and Bazigar (dog). Tovino Thomas was simply outstanding, he took the character ‘Shaji’ to another level, skills of his real acting talent was masterly seen in the whole movie. His portrayal of various emotions was incredible, the expression he carried out according to the different scenes was wonderful to watch. The character demands various emotions and Tovino has amazingly given every sort of real content. His actions were extraordinary, his caring love for his wife was lovely, his anger was genuine, his desperateness was emotional, his crying and pain he suffers was sentimental so like said he had given a complete package of real acting skills, stole the show. Sumesh Moor plays a crucial character and delivered a shocking and wonderful performance. With Tovino he also carries the movie on his shoulder with the responsibility to deliver an intense performance and given his best effort. His various emotions were striking to the best ends, sometimes can give fear and real horror. His combination with Tovino was speechless, both shared a strong combination with terrific and disturbing actions. I am sure Sumesh Moor can reach more heights, he is gifted by potential acting. Divya Pillai as the wife of Tovino did an excellent performance, her expressions were elegant to watch and the combination scenes with Tovino was romantic. Lal as the father of Tovino did a great supporting job, his voice and sharp dialogue were flawless.
The cinematography of Akhil George was entirely fascinating with remarkable frames and shots. His cinematography is one of the key highlights behind the winning factor. The shots and camera movements he used for the action sequences were phenomenal. The various wide-angle shot was flawlessly matching to set the mood of the film and my surprising frames of snakes, frog, ants etc was captured genuinely which had given more appeal for the viewing experience. The editing of Chaman Chakko was extraordinary, many random cuts connecting to scenes was made heavily brilliant, also none of the scenes was having any sort of mismatching feel. The gradient used was good, the various tone had helped to grant the specific mood according to the scenes. The team behind the action also deserves huge applause, every fight sequences was naturally made without any exaggeration. The makeup man also deserves a special mention, the role of makeup was very crucial to this film and the one behind it had amazingly given the right makeup especially for the lead actors, the blood shelling from the body and also actors covering with thick blood after the fight was seen as realistic.
Therefore, I can honestly say that Kala had given a wonderful theatre experience, the exceptional direction from Rohit R.S and the performance from Tovino Thomas and Sumesh Moor is a fascinating treat to watch. So overall to conclude Kala is one of the brilliantly executed movies I have recently seen, it’s a compelling journey into violence that can surely given an unforgettable cinematic experience, do watch and never miss it.

Kochi: There is no stay on the crime branch investigation against Enforcement Directorate. The High Court on Tuesday will reconsider the petition filed by the Enforcement Directorate seeking quashing of the case. The High Court also directed that no action should be taken against the ED officials till then.
Solicitor General Thushar Mehta appeared in court on behalf of ED. The Solicitor General argued in court that there was no department to file a case against ED. The court asked Enforcement why the information provided in the sealed envelope was reissued.
It is alleged that Swapna Suresh, the accused in the ED gold smuggling case, was pressured to give a false statement against the Chief Minister. The case has been registered under various sections including conspiracy. The action is based on legal advice.
The ED wrote a letter to the government on 20-11-2020 to inquire into the nature of the conversation which came out like a dream. Following this, the government ordered a crime branch inquiry. It was during this inquiry that some women officials testified against ED. He said that he had put pressure on Swapna to make a false statement against the Chief Minister and that he had heard the promise that Swapna would be pardoned if he made such a statement.
The Crime Branch investigation team had found that conspiring and pressuring someone to enter incorrectly was not part of the official procedure. The government then sought legal advice from the Director-General of Prosecutions on the case. The FIR was registered against the ED officials based on legal advice that a case could be registered against them for pressuring them to give false statements and for a conspiracy behind it.
A letter has been sent to the ED DGP requesting that there be a conspiracy behind the statement of the women officials and that action be taken against the women officials for giving false statements.

New Delhi: The Supreme Court has rejected a petition seeking an extension of the moratorium period on bank loan repayments as part of the Covid lockdown. The apex court also ruled that full interest relief could not be granted during the moratorium period.
The court ruled that the imposition of penalty interest on bank loans was unacceptable and that the banks would have to repay the money if they had done so.
The court ruled that it was not appropriate for the court to interfere in the government’s economic and policy decisions.
Chennai: Against the backdrop of an increasing number of covid, the Tamil Nadu government directs the colleges to held classes only online. The government has also decided to conduct semester examinations in virtual mode. The decision was made in a discussion with Chief Secretary Rajiv Ranjan and Vice-Chancellors relating to this issue. Vice-Chancellors suggest classes should be conducted online 70 to 80 percent of the lessons are taught. Delegates also informed that the practical classes are being conducted for Science students. The government has also directed that the practical classes must be completed by March 31 and the exam held only online.

Bhopal: At least 13 people have been killed in a bus-auto collision in Madhya Pradesh. The accident took place in the Gwalior district around 7 am today.
The accident took place in the Purani Chahawani area of Gwalior. Police say the bus was heading to Morena when it collided with an auto.
Ten of the passengers died on the spot. The dead included 10 women and the driver of the autorickshaw.
