Chennai: Against the backdrop of an increasing number of covid, the Tamil Nadu government directs the colleges to held classes only online. The government has also decided to conduct semester examinations in virtual mode.
The decision was made in a discussion with Chief Secretary Rajiv Ranjan and Vice-Chancellors relating to this issue.
Vice-Chancellors suggest classes should be conducted online 70 to 80 percent of the lessons are taught. Delegates also informed that the practical classes are being conducted for Science students. The government has also directed that the practical classes must be completed by March 31 and the exam held only online.
