New Delhi: ICSE has come up with a different formula for the Plus Two assessment in case of cancellation of the exam. The decision was made to consider the six-year marks. 10th class project and practice will also be taken into consideration.

The apex court will hear the case on Monday. Meanwhile, students expressed concern over the announcement of results. Lawyers for the students told the court that the delay in announcing the results would affect higher education.

New Delhi: Covid third wave could hit Maharashtra in the next two to four weeks, reports. The warning was issued by the state Covid mission. The third wave is less likely to affect children. But low-income earners are more likely to be affected, the warning said.

A review meeting was convened on Wednesday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray to prepare for the third wave of Covid. It was at this meeting that the mission team shared their observations. In addition to the members of the mission, the state health minister and senior officials also attended the meeting.

The mission estimates that the number of Covid patients in the third wave will double compared to the second wave. In the first wave, 19 lakh cases were reported. In the second wave, 40 lakh cases were reported. There are currently 1.4 lakh active cases. It may reach eight lakhs. The task force estimates that 10% of cases in the third wave, similar to the first two waves, may be reported from children or young people.

New Delhi: Russia’s Sputnik V vaccine will be expanded in India, the vaccine maker has said. In India, the vaccine will soon be available in nine cities, namely Bengaluru, Mumbai, Chennai, Visakhapatnam, Baddi, Kolhapur, and Miryalaguda, the company said on Twitter. Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories distributes Sputnik vaccine in the country. Earlier, 30 lakh doses of the Sputnik V vaccine were delivered to Hyderabad.

The vaccine was then delivered to the public through the hospital and Dr. Reddy’s laboratory. The distribution of the vaccine started on May 17 in Hyderabad and on May 18 in Visakhapatnam. It is learned that the central government has fixed the price of a single dose of wax at Rs 1,145. The Bahraini Ministry of Health has confirmed that the Sputnik vaccine is 94.3 percent effective against Covid.

New Delhi: Green fungus has also been confirmed in the country. The green fungus was found in a native of Indore. Ravi Dosi, a doctor at the Sri Arabindo Institute of Medical Sciences, said the green fungus was detected when the Covid patient underwent a detailed examination.

However, two months ago, the patient was admitted to the hospital with Covid symptoms. He was treated in the ICU for about a month. Covid was later released but his fever persisted. There was also bleeding from the nose. The doctors said that the patient was very tired due to weight loss.

Lucknow: A court has ruled that there is no evidence that Malayalee journalist Siddique Kappan tried to disrupt peace in Hathras. The Madurai court also quashed the charges against Ateek Rahman, Alam, and Masood, who were arrested along with Kappan.

However, the sedition charges against Kappan have not been dismissed by the UAPA. But the Madurai court has now acquitted the department which had taken Kappan into custody. The court will consider Kappan’s bail application on the 22nd.

On October 5, 2020, Uttar Pradesh police arrested Siddique Kappan and others on charges of disrupting peace in Hathras. Subsequently, departments including UAPA were imposed. Kappan has been in jail for eight months.
