Thiruvananthapuram. KPCC president K Sudhakaran welcomed the move by the central government to reduce excise duty on petrol and diesel. I thank the Central Government for being sensible, albeit belatedly. Otherwise, not only Kerala but the whole of India would have gone into a tainted political situation and struggle. This declaration has been able to prevent this.

If the Center alone decides to reduce prices, prices will not fall. The state government should reduce taxes. If the state government does not reduce the central government, the sword of agitation will be turned against the state government.

The KPCC will go ahead with the reorganization. Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh have decided to come to Kerala to see the working style of the Congress in Kerala. Sudhakaran also claimed that the result was so oriented.

The AICC has directed that the rest of the reorganization be completed immediately. Sudhakaran said the remaining work would be completed in a few days.
