Kannur: Gold worth Rs 51 lakh seized from Kannur airport. The gold was seized from M Fazil, a native of Aralam.  The young man was caught with the gold during a joint search by DRI and customs.  Fazil was on an Air India Express flight from Sharjah last night.

The police seized 1040 grams of gold during a subsequent search.  The gold was found when the suspect was taken into custody and examined.  The paste-shaped gold was hidden in the anus.  1153 grams of gold was seized at the time of seizure but 1040 grams of gold was recovered.

Thiruvananthapuram: This year’s International Film Festival in Kerala will be held from February 4 to 11.  It was earlier scheduled to start on December 10.  However, the film festival was delayed due to bad weather and lack of availability of theaters. The fair will be inaugurated by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on February 4 at 6 pm at Nishagandhi Auditorium. The Government intends to hold the 26th edition of the IFFK, which will last for eight days, in all twelve theaters in Thiruvananthapuram with all its pride.

The International Documentary Short Film Festival (IDSFFK), which could not be held last time in the background of covid, will be held from December 9 to 14, 2021 on four screens at the Aries Plus, SL Theater Complex, Thiruvananthapuram. 

Kochi:  Suspicion mounts over former Miss Kerala death case.  Roy was not present, although police had issued several notices after the accident raised suspicion.  He arrived at the police station after being warned by the police that he would be arrested.  The DGP had sought an explanation from the commissioner for delaying the action.  Roy was issued a notice to appear today following a warning from the DGP.  There were rumors that Roy had arrived at the scene of the accident where the models died.  Police are investigating the incident.

Kochi: The High Court has quashed the lower court’s order setting a time limit for anticipatory bail in the ISRO scam case.  The CBI court had granted 60 days of anticipatory bail in the case.  The High Court allowed the plea of ​​Siby Mathews challenging the order.  The High Court had sought an explanation from the CBI in the petition.  Thiruvananthapuram Sessions Court granted anticipatory bail to Siby Mathews for 60 days.

Former DGP Siby Mathews is the fourth accused in a CBI case alleging conspiracy to fabricate a case.  Siby Mathews was a member of the Special Investigation Team (SIT) investigating the ISRO scam.  However, Siby Mathews had alleged that hatred against him was behind the case.
