The couple was caught at Chaka, Thiruvananthapuram while they were being smuggled on a bike. Darshana is a native of Ivarkala, Kollam.

Fire breaks out at an electric scooter showroom in Secunderabad, eight dead

Secunderabad: Eight people were killed in a fire at an electric bike showroom in Secunderabad on Monday night. Many people were injured. Police said the fire quickly spread to the hotel above the electric bike showroom.

Four Malappuram natives, including a couple who tried to smuggle MDMA, were arrested at the check post
Malappuram: Four people, including a couple, were arrested with MDMA, a deadly drug, at the Malappuram transit checkpoint. The couple tried to smuggle drugs using children as cover. An infant and another seven-year-old child were with them at the time of the arrest. Their plan was to take MDMA from Bangalore and bring it to Kerala through the Gudalur Nadukani Pass. They came to Gudalur in a jeep and then traveled on a bike. It is believed that they have taken this route thinking that those who come on bikes with children will not be checked much. Aslamuddin and Shifna were on a bike with their children, Muhammad Sadat was on a jeep and Kamaruddin was on another two-wheeler. When they came on a bike in extreme cold, the baby had health problems and they sought treatment at the hospital.
