New Delhi: The Central Meteorological Department said that due to the formation of low pressure in the Bay of Bengal, the Bay of Bengal and the Andaman Sea should not go fishing until further notice.

Meanwhile, there is no disruption to fishing along the Kerala-Lakshadweep coast. The Central Meteorological Department has also informed that one should not go fishing on the coast of Karnataka.

22 dead after bus falls from bridge in Madhya Pradesh

Malappuram:  Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has announced that the state government will provide financial assistance of Rs 10 lakh to the families of those who died in the Tanur boat accident and the state government will bear the medical expenses of the injured. The decision of the Cabinet was announced by the Chief Minister when he came directly to the accident site.

He said that the state is taking the accident seriously and will conduct a judicial inquiry. He said that there will be a team of technical experts for the investigation.

The Chief Minister said that the meeting between MLAs and various party leaders was held in Tanur. 22 people lost their lives in the tragedy.
