Hamdania: 114 people died in a fire during a wedding celebration in Iraq. More than 150 people were injured. The accident happened in Hamdania area of ​​Nineveh province in northern Iraq. Local media reported that the bride and groom were among the dead. The accident happened on Tuesday night. It was found that poor quality flammable materials were used as part of the decoration which increased the extent of the fire. Allegations that the hall was built using cheap and low-quality construction materials were raised after the accident. Those injured in the accident were shifted to hospitals across the Nineveh region. Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammad Shia al-Sudani ordered an investigation into the fire. The country’s home and health officials were also asked to lead the rescue efforts.
Khalistan – Pakistan – Gangster nexus: Raid in 6 states
New Delhi: The NIA has raided 51 places in six states in the context of links between Khalistani separatist organizations and gangs. It is suspected that the gangs of Lawrence Bishnoi and Arshdeep Dalla, who have been identified by the Delhi Police as having links with the Pakistani terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba, have planned to attack Hindu leaders in Punjab in collaboration with the Khalistans.
It is reported that many weapons, explosives and digital devices were seized during the search conducted by the NIA from Thursday morning.
According to the NIA, criminals like Dalla and Gaurav Patial are in foreign countries and are supplying funding and arms to Khalistani leaders.
Apart from this, it is also indicated that their planned crimes include murders according to orders and kidnapping and extortion of money. Many of these criminal gangs are based in Dubai.
The raids were in Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Delhi. Out of 51 places inspected, 30 are in Punjab.
Information about Lakhbir Singh alias Landa based in Canada, Harvinder Singh Rinda in Pakistan and Gurpatwant Singh Pannu in the US is being sought.
Special Public Prosecutor withdraws in Attapadi Madhu murder case
Palakkad: Senior advocate KP Satheesan, who was appointed as Special Public Prosecutor in the Attapadi Madhu murder case, has resigned. All PSC exams on Thursday have been postponed

Nipah restrictions will continue till October 1
