Thiruvananthapuram: A huge drug hunt in the capital. 78.78 grams of MDMA was seized from Step Up Tattoo Studio operating at SS Covil road, Thampanoor. Rajajinagar resident Majindran and Peringamala resident Shawn Aji were arrested by the police in the incident.
MDMA worth about three lakh rupees was seized by the Excise Special Squad. The excise inspection was conducted on the basis of secret information that drugs were being sold through the tattoo center.

Kamal Haasan, who is a native of Tamil Nadu but has starred in many Malayalam films, said that he was honored to be a part of Keraleeyam. “Kerala is a land with a rich cultural heritage,” he said. “I am grateful to be a part of this festival and to celebrate the beauty of Kerala with you all.”
Shobana, who is one of the most celebrated dancers in India, said that Keraleeyam was a platform to highlight the unique art forms of Kerala. “Kerala has a rich tradition of dance, music, and theater,” she said. “Keraleeyam is a great opportunity to showcase these art forms to a wider audience.”
The inauguration ceremony of Keraleeyam 2023 was followed by a cultural performance that featured traditional Kerala dances, music, and theater. The festival will continue until November 7, and will feature a variety of cultural events, including exhibitions, seminars, and workshops.

Kerala DGP Dr. Shaik Darvesh Saheb has confirmed that the blast at the Zamra International Convention Centre in Kalamassery on Sunday morning was a bomb attack. He said that an improvised explosive device (IED) was used in the explosion, and that the NIA (National Investigation Agency) is likely to take over the investigation.
The DGP also said that the blast occurred at around 9:40 AM, when a large group of people had gathered at the convention centre for a religious event.
