Millions of pilgrims from other states visit Sabarimala during Mandal. A few weeks ago, after traveling through the forbidden forest area, some reached the KSEB tower near Sannidhanam.
After the news came out and the incident became controversial, there was a demand for increased security at Sabarimala from various quarters.
