Actor and screenwriter Ranji Panicker banned by theater owners again. The new film A Ranjith will not be screened in theatres. Kalpatta: 84,600-page chargesheet submitted in court in Muttil tree cutting case. The charge sheet was filed in Batheri First Class Magistrate Court.

There are twelve accused in the case including Roji Augustin, Anto Augustin and Josutty Augustin Augustin. The charge sheet includes 420 witnesses and 900 documents. The case is that 105 trees were cut down under the guise of a government order.

The main offenses are destruction of public property, forgery, fraud and conspiracy. Apart from the Augustine brothers, their drivers Bineesh, Chacko, Suresh, Abubakar, Ravi, KK Aji who was the then village officer of Nassar, and special village officer KK Sindhu are the other accused.

Cooking gas prices hiked; An increase of Rs 21 per commercial cylinder

 The price of commercial cooking gas has been increased by Rs 21 per cylinder.  Domestic cooking gas cylinder prices remain unchanged.  Oil companies cut jet fuel prices by 4.6 percent.

 LPG cylinder price for domestic use will remain at Rs 903.  The new price of a commercial LPG cylinder is Rs 1796.50.

 In light of today’s rate hike, a 19 kg LPG cylinder will cost Rs 1796.50 in Delhi, Rs 1908 in Kolkata, Rs 1749 in Mumbai and Rs 1968.50 in Chennai.  Earlier, the price of a 19 kg LPG cylinder was Rs 1775.50 in Delhi, Rs 1885.50 in Kolkata, Rs 1728 in Mumbai and Rs 1942 in Chennai.
