Veteran actress Sukumari’s funeral happened at 3.45 pm in Chennai Basanth Nagar crematorium. There was no extravagancy in the case of official honors like in Kerala. There are only hundreds of people including relatives and friends. Sukumar’s body exhibited at her residence in Chennai T. Nagar after postmortem. Minister K.B. Ganesh Kumar dedicated reeth for Chief Minister Oommen chandy Chandy. Mamooty,Dileep,Parvathy, Anoop Menon,Lissy,Sreekumaran Thambi, Krishna, Jomol,Rekha, Sheela ,K.R. Vijay and Tamil veteran actress Manorama came to pay homage for their beloved colleague.

Veteran actress Sukumari died
South Indian veteran actress Sukumari (74) passed away. Her death was at private hospital, Chennai due to heart attack. She was on treatment from last month onwards due to the burn happened from her pooja room. It is about sixty years that she was being part of the Indian cinema. Sukumari acted in more than 2000 films in different languages. Apart from Malayalam, she acted in Tamil, Thelungu and Oriya.More details & pic will add soon .

AMMA Mega Show In Sharja And Kochi
The mega show of AMMA (Association of Malayalam Movie Artists ) will happen on April 5 in Sharja and on April 7 in Kochi. AMMA president Innocent has done the publishing of logo at Abad Plassa Hotel , Kochi. He told that the aim of mega show is for collecting the fund for the welfare of members.
