Moscow says Indian students in Russia are not threatened

Moscow: Russian authorities say there is no security threat to Indian students in Russia. The Indian embassy in Moscow said there was no security threat for Indian students to leave Russia.

The response came after Indian students studying at Russian universities sought advice from the Indian embassy on staying in the country. He said he was in constant contact with the Russian authorities about the security of Indian citizens, including students, the embassy clarified.

The embassy said it would return to India if it was concerned about disruptions to banking services or air services.
