Indian student killed in Toronto clash between police and robbers

Toronto: An Indian student was shot dead in the Canadian city of Toronto. The deceased has been identified as Karthik Vasudev, 21, of Ghaziabad in Uttar Pradesh. The student was killed in a shooting outside Toronto’s Sherborne subway station on Thursday evening. It is learned that Karthik was shot during a clash between robbers and police in the city.

Karthik is a first-semester Marketing Management student at Seneca College. Karthik was shot on his way to a restaurant looking for a part-time job. Karthik was rushed to the hospital but could not save his life. Karthik arrived in Canada in January.
